The Scientific-Industrial Firm ORT was founded in 1990 and over the years we obtained experience in producing high quality tents. It is really appreciated by clients all over the world such as in Russia, Norway, South Africa, Kazakhstan, UK and etc.

The principal kinds of the production are military, humanitarian, tourist's and trading tents, and skeleton awning constructions.
    The quantity of staff is 174 men including 12 engineering technique intelligentsia men.
    The productive capacity is to 1500 tents «M.10» per month.

    The production structure:
    The enterprise has got the machine assembling shop, the sewing department, the biascutting department, the hight-frequency current welding shop, the building up department, the quality control department, the design office, the maintenance supply department, the transport department, the marketing department.

   Our firm has been exporting the tents to Norway, Republic of South Africa, Italy, Spain, Benin, Lithuania, Estonia, Belarus,Moldova, and Kazakhstan since 1993. Since 1999 the tents were supplied by request of the United Nations Organization.
    Today SIF ORT is the only producer of the new type tents for the needs of the Ministry of Defense and of the Ministry of Emergencies in Russia and on the entire territory of the former Soviet Union. Now we closely co-operate with the state reserve Committee of Russian Federation. We began to execute the batch of the particularized tents according by request of the Ministry of Emergencies in Russia.
    The new type tents are more universal, easier for usage and for assemble, more reliable to compare with tents located in the provision departments and in the State reserve depositories, and their usage period is much longer.
    For our tents we use materials:

The main advantage of our tents is that they have modular frame, it means there are no central poles inside the tent and you can use all area inside also our tents can stand without guy-ropes because of its modular frame. Also all poles of the tent have the same length and conectors are same, it facilitates erecting of a tent. And people who meet our tent at the first time can easily set up our tents (even tents with area 80 m2) themselves.

Our products was continually demonstrated at Russian and international exhibitions: "Rescue equipment" (the Ministry of Emergencies in Russia, from 1995 till 2000), Medical-Expo-95 (Morocco), World Aid '96, 98 (Switzerland), "Aid and Trade 2002, 2003, 2004" (Switzerland), "DIHAD" (UAE) and others .

After the exhibition DIHAD 2004 in Dubai, UAE, SIF ORT donated complete canvas tent to the "Human Appeal International".

Later we received a letter from them with this words: "On behalf of Human Appeal International, we would like to thank you for your kind donation of the tent, at the DIHAD exhibition in Dubai. It has suitable size, made from good quality material."
